Back in 2009 this was the second custom Sonic figure I ever made. My motivation was that the then new Jazwares Sonic line didn't have any villains in the 3 inch scale (they had made a 10 inch Metal Sonic but it would be quite some time before they made Eggman and Metal Sonic to scale with everyone else.) So I decided to make my own, first Scourge and then this guy, Dr. Finitevus, since Knuckles had just come out. I was just getting started so there were tons of flaws, the sculpt on his limbs prevented his elbows and knees from working, the figure couldn't stand, and after 8 years the polymer clay I had used was cracking and crumbling away. So I decided the figure needed to be rebuilt with all my modern techniques and materials. I used my gundam markers to make the lines on his head smoother, my 3D pen to make a new pair of glasses, apoxie sculpt to make the ring armor on his arms and legs (this time I made sure the elbows and knees were free) and heel spurs to allow the figure to stand with the less than compatible Sonic feet.
