This is another figure I have just finished work on which is made to fit in with the vintage He-Man action figures.

She is loosely based on the female rock person from the He-Man mini comic titled ‘Escape From the Slime Pit’.

To make her I used a vintage Rokkon figure as a base. Her face was taken from a vintage Teela figure & her chest section was taken from a vintage Catra figure.

I started off by taking the Rokkon figure apart. Next I sliced off his face with a sharp craft knife & sanded down his chest area.

I then sliced the face off the Teela figure & attached it to the face area of the Rokkon figure & did the same with the chest section from the Catra figure.

Next I sculpted her a helmet & blended in around the chest section using a product called ‘Fixit Sculpt’. I also attached 2 little pearl jewels to her body for extra detailing.

Once the Fixit had set I painted the entire figure using Humbrol enamel paints.

When the paint had dried I assembled the figures head arms & legs back onto her body & folded her up into her rock form. At this point I used gold spray paint & fine gold glitter to add the details to her back (top of the rock).

Next I added a little orange jewel to her chest section.

To finish her off I got Rokkons weapon & painted it orange & gold to fit in with her colour scheme.

She was never given a name in the mini comic so I decided to call her Quartzita. This is based on the pink rock called ‘Pink Quartzite’.
