Bunch of these guys this week. Black Manta is one of those I've wanted to revisit for ages. I fixed him up once before, but couldn't work out a way to make the head poseable. But, I've gotten much better at sculpting since then. And with him already looking to be DLC for Injustice 2, this couldn't be a better time to fix him up. Well, maybe to coincide with that release, but I'm impatient. Swapped out the right arm for Daredevil, then sculpted up the belt and backpack. Cut off the lower half of the Daredevil head, then sculpted the full Manta head over it. Did one base layer for the size, and a second to add a little more size, even out some edges, and allow for an easier time fixing up the eyes. Used headphone cable for the tubes. Dremeled in, glued them in place, then added a little sculpt around them, as well. Also put a little on the back of him neck for that additional red piece he has. Full repaint, topped off with a random trident I had, and done! Head is more accurate and actually moves properly as it should, so I'm quite happy with this one.
