So I've been so wanting a Pirates neca Davy Jones for awhile now and decided to Well take a shot at making him. So I used a neca Edward Norrington figure as a base did away with his hands and right leg. Used parts from a terribly made disney davy jones such as his claw, octopus hand, back octo-head and right leg. Made them all fit tweaking and molding here and there and worked perfectly. I molded his face using milliput. I used sum predator neca figure hair locks and a 50 cent swap meet octopus toy tentacles to blend them all together. Took pieces from past pirate base stands & used such as shells,barnacles, moss and what not & glued them over his left boot and all over his jacket(disney davy jacket) &
hat.(disney davy hat) I used a McFarlane football figure field base turf as well. Skimming pieces here and there. I Used various acrylics such as dark & light greens, dark blue, gun metal,skin tone acrylic, British red to his claw and right foot and head band. Black wash, green wash and red wash for his eyes and skin. Topping him off with clear gloss to simulate him being wet and the explanation of the glare on the photos as well lol. And that's a wrap.
