I wasn't ever too keen on the Prologue Elrond's figure and it's articulation or overall look, BUT the design in the first Hobbit movie had a samurai look to it and I had to make it. It is quite simple I just used a prologue Elrond's torso and arms, legs from Legolas (yes that its funny XD ), the head from a council of Elrond figure as well as his robe which has been turned into his cloak/ robe garment and lastly the skirt part is just 2 pippin cape's. Everything else was miliput sculpting and painting. Happy with how it turned out, I would have liked to see him fight in this get up in his final scene but they went for a gold armour instead.
I don't know why he wasn't riding in on Asfalof. Whilst this may be Glorfindel's Horse, Arwen uses it and so you'd assume they'd just keep Asfalof around, unless the argument is that the difference of 60 years is significant but you would think some horses might have lived longer as it is a realm of fantasy.
Hey ! You are REALLY productive at the moment...that's awesome and your re-enaction of movie-scenes even more ! Yupp, I'm d'accord : MOOOAAAR PICTURES PLEASE ! Congrats !
It's because I made several customs ages ago including the Thorin I posted recently, but either hadn't taken the photos or I had a few pieces left. Like with Thorin he went from just a chest piece to chest and plate skirt to 99% complete just missing the elbow armour pieces and the raven heads on the sword. So yeah I've still got random characters and beasts to photograph or finish up haha.
I definitely will at some point because I feel it is important to support sites you enjoy. At the moment it's just a matter of finance as I'm a student with very little money haha. So once I have a job I can lols
