This is one of the members of a planet that once looked after the GL Corps lanterns when they weren't using them. If I remember... it was after Hal/Paralax decimated the Corp then it was rebuilt, the lanterns were no longer kept on their planet. While they were there, the lanterns gave off a radiation that made the planet a fertile, thriving place. after their removal, the planet became almost barren and the people became like skeletons with a green glow.
