I used the Attar figure, mainly as a base, but I pretty much covered any identifiable details with either sculpted with Apoxie or crafted using styrene.

I initially wanted to create a cartoon-accurate Krang just for my own display (to go with my Ban Dai Turtles) but saw this contest right as I was in the middle, and thought, "Perfect!"

First I disassembled the figure, removed the electronics and sanded off all details using a dremel.

The chest cavity was scratch-built using sheet styrene. Other areas (the wrist cuffs, shoulder guards, antenna) also used styrene, but the rest was sculpted from the model sheets/ reference I found online, using Apoxie.

Rare earth magnets were used for wrist articulation and sculpted into the figure to keep Krang in the cavity. This also makes the hands themselves removable, in case I want to create some of the fun accessories (radio, cutters) that Krang uses in the cartoon.

Had a lot of fun and this was truly a labor of love from a lifelong TMNT fan :)
