Added skirt from Isengard orc light paint. Orc sword from fodder. Hand made trap jaw helmet and Mordor banner. I cover the head with a thick sran wrap ( plastic wrap for food ). Then heat it with heat gun. Sculpt on top so it can be removed.....Very fragile, but can be removed. Wanted to make slight different back ground orc.
Oh, the helmet looks really, really cool ! Always wanted to make one of that design too ! Great job ! The piercing is AWESOME ! Very thin chain / perfect scale ! Love it !!! How many of those (original) warrior-figures do you have ??? Those are SO hard to get here in Germany. Sorry, but I don't get, what you ment with the head/shrink-film/sculpted over/remove?
I like the banner too, but I think it would look even more impressive with a longer pole...just my opinion...
I use a plastic wrap, clear sheet of plastic wrap to cover the head then shrink it with heat so I can sculpt onto the figure directly. When it is cured it won't be bonded to the figure but to the film on top, thus making it removable. I bought 5 at a toy show one year but I allway try to keep one in the box....just in case it becomes a rare collectible and I've cannibalized mine. We would all be more impressive with a longer pole.......LOL!!!!!!
