Simple, easy, effective

Sometimes simple is effective, as with this recipe. Nice looking Black Widow, I'm not overly enthused by the repainted Moonstone head for the Phoenix figures, but here it works great. Only nit I'd have is I would probably either change out the hands (at least one with gun grip) or repaint them, the yellow on the palms still make me think "Wasp" and are a bit distracting.

I agree. the minute I saw this head, it screamed black widow. Nice suggestion on the hands also. I might end up painting them black. I just felt with the all black and the very muted gold of the belt and gauntlets, she needed a little color

Cool. Was gonna do this with my custom Widow when I first saw the images of the Dark Phoenix 2 pack. Problem is, I can't find these figures in my two area Toys R Us.! So frustrating !

That sucks, 'cos the only other option (outside of a potentially fruitless drive to some other TRU locations) seems to be shelling out $60-70 to some douchebag scalper on eBay.

Thanks LC. Yeah, I ended up having to pay $65 on ebay. But did make some of the money back by selling the dark phoenix body and possessed head. I only wanted the 2 heads, one for my Green phoenix, and one for this widow.
