So as I stated in my Red Skull custom, I got two Doc Ock figures from the movie because he is one of my favourite designs and interpretations of the character. So I used the one that had a lever and hollowed out the bottom arms sticking in long wires from a coil I have, then used the other super posable arms doc ock figures tentacles and had to heat a screw driver to super hot temperatures to make the inside able to fit the wires I wanted to use which were stronger and long enough to fit through two tentacles. This took a long while to complete as strong had to be removed from the gripping arms and getting the new holes sorted was difficult and dangerous. Overall I am pleased with this figure as it has doubled for length of the robotic arms which in the film do get longer and so it allows him to stand on his lower arms and have better posability.
No Hasbro did worse. Back then it was Toybiz until it got bought by Hasbro. So when Spidey 3 came out they made a 5" scale for the main line to ease marvel Toy buyers into the smaller 3.75" scale they were used to making. Which failed and they did a 6" scale later but obviously the 5" scale died out quickly. It's kinda funny how toys of marvel were mego scale then 5" then 6" with some 12" and then 5" then back to 6" introduce 12" somewhere and then 3.75" to keep with the old scales Hasbro is used to then they go back on themselves into 6" for Star Wars hahahah. Toy companies are mad .
lol it's ok I wasn't trying to correct anything lols I just find toy history kind of interesting especially how hasbro got Kenner and Toybiz. They did re release Kenner’s old figures in their spidey 3 Line so hey reused the mounds from the Spider-Man 1 and 2 films for the Goblin and Ock
