I have wanted to make a magna defender for the legacy(6. 5in series) for a while now and finally got around to finishing him a few days ago. It was perhaps the most royal pain in the butt ever and i never ever want to do magna defender again. The magna blaster in sword and gun mode are casts i made of the originals that came with talking magna defender. The blaster fits on his belt via a necklace clasp.
all the sculpting was done with aves 2 part epoxy and it was painted using model masters acryl and sealed with mr. Super clear matt(i use it on all my customs)
the main body is a black series clone trooper captain, head is purely sculpted and the shoulder pads are from mystic knights rohnan sculpted over and are attached via halo wrist joints so they will move out of the way when posing his arms.
belt that the blaster attaches to was made from a vinyl strip stitched together.
the cap was hand sewn myself(my first time sewing) and has a small wire frame sewed inside of it for more dynamic posing.
over all i am very satisfied with the result. There are some things i may change eventually but i'm in no hurry lol
