The idea for this She-Predator was somewhat inspired by the Shaman Predator from Predator 2 and to a lesser extent, the Bad Blood Predator from Dark Horse Comic's Predator: Bad Blood comic. I go by Steve Perry's Yautja, so she is just as muscular as the males, but also sexually dimorphic. I went with an overall Voodoo/Tribal-type motif for her, giving her a full body skeletal tattoo, adorning her gear with various trophies and having her wield a scythe with skeletal features to match. I see her acting as a Shaman to the Yautja's God of Death, Cetanu, who was also mentioned in Perry's novels.

Character Bio

The leader of the Death Stalker Tribe, the Voodoo Queen and her brother, the Death Stalker Predator, are two of the last surviving members of an ancient clan revered for their association with the Yautjan God of Death, Cetanu and their brutal ritualistic hunting tactics, which have been carried on to her tribe. These practices include eliminating Bad Bloods and purging Xenomorph Hives, among others. A shaman to the God of Death, she believes she has a strong connection to the spirit world, and as such, has a strong sense of spirituality, even having her whole body ritualistically tattooed with a skeletal pattern. While most female Yautja opt to raise children rather than hunt, she has no interest in motherhood and lives for the thrill of the hunt. She formed the Death Stalker Tribe as a means of uniting misfit Yautja who were either outcasts or often acted as lone wolves. She hunts and kills her prey in a ritualistic manner, often slaying them in a slow and painful fashion, utilizing her preferred weapon, a Ceremonial Plasma Scythe. The Voodoo Queen and her tribe are both respected and feared by their allies and a nightmare made real to those who are unfortunate enough to become their prey.

I think I used more parts for this custom than I did any of my other Predator customs, she is also taller than the NECA P1 and P2 type figures and just about as tall as the NECA AVP Predators, fitting given Perry's novels state the females were usually larger than the males.

The Dantes Inferno Scythe is a pretty bulky weapon, originally I was tempted to use the Hive Wars Predator scythe instead, but the Dante's Scythe just looked better with her overall design.

Very cool! I think Perry only referenced the females briefly - very cool to see an imagining of that. If the males are hunters, a shaman/leader role makes a lot of sense

Yeah, it was brief, tho unfortunately one of the few bits of info we get about them other than two comics and Predator: Incursion. Even though it was brief, I always like the way he portrayed them best tho. Only flaw is this one is shorter than the AVP style Preds NECA made, but those are kind of hard to top height-wise lol.
