Shadow - Spider (Spider-Man) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:919
Name:Shadow - Spider
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Spider-Man
Creator:somethingdifferent
Date Added:August 7, 2006
Base Figure:Spider-man (Urban Legends)
Height:6.25 inches
This is my custom character: Shadow-Spider.

I'm in the middle of writting a story for him as well as his "partner" Dr.A or Aracno or something like that.

Ok, the figure is the Urban Legends Spider-man painted black with the left arm removed Movie Punisher arm put in and hand then swapped back and painted. The "hoodie" is made of an old Gambit coat and the sleeve and hood are just so spare cloth.

I painted him when I still had black paint so that's why you can see some red and blue in the joints.

He also has a white spider on his back. (same as the one on the back of Dr.A)

Thanks for taking a look. Sorry the pictures are blurry, new camera with really weird flash.

I just got a new file so that's what I was thinking but I just wanted to know if there was an easier way.
Thanks.
If I can get some apoxy I might have a new custom done tonight. Not sure which one though, cuz all three I'm working on kind of need it.

Well, I just use a utility knife to slice off the extra plastic and then smooth it out with some sculpey. That's what I did to the thighs of my Shard custom. You could also use a file if you wanted.

Correct. There is this really incredible comic and figure shop by my house. It's called Lost World of Wonders and they always have great figures. That's where I got the Symbiote Spidey, and most of my ML figures come from there.
Quick question. I have a figure that I'm making and I need to shave down the pantlegs around his ankle. How would I do that without a dremel?

Cool, thanks! How about the Symbiote Spidey? Is that from the Marvel Select?

The jacket was from that Wolive I did. I just got tired of having to change that figure around every couple of days because he just looked weird. So, I took the coat and turned it into a "hoodie" with one sleeve.
It's from the newest Spider-Man line. The one with Hydro-man and Hobgoblin. It's called Web Splasher Spider-Man. He comes with this stupid water gun thing. But it's an awesome figure. He was about to be turned into Scarlet Spider but I changed my mind and now he's my permenant Classic Spidey.
Have you seen the new Spider-Man Origins line coming out through Hasbro?!?!?!
Thanks again for the comments.

The jacket makes him cool
What Spiderman is that in the background? I've been looking for an original Spiderman and can't decide which one to buy, lol.
