Is it a plane? is he Superman? is the new generation of Ultraman? no, he's Hero Zero! a blast from the mad 90s comic book industry, from Dark Horse's greatest comic world series. A character that didn't deserve to be forgotten forever, and reduced to a handful of appearances. It has a bit of Shazam (he's a kid fused with an strange entity), Iron Man (for the armour), Giant Man (he becomes a giant to battle sort of japanese monsters), heck, he even has a bit of Ben 10 reminiscence for the alien entity fused into him, and that's 10 or more years before him.

And I had all the way clear, as I we'll see first action figures of Darth Vader in summer trunks before some toy company makes a figure of him.

This custom had all sorts of problems, the worst of all, is that I didn't notice, but small tiny bits, particles, grumples, whatever, kept spoiling the nice and smooth surface of the white. I painted and repainted, tried different pots of paint, nothing. In the end it comes out that it was my brushes, after the bad decision of cleaning them with alcohol instead of water, that was leaving loose residues that were in the brushes before. Anyway, after repainting 4 or 5 times, and actually sanding the paint with very fine sandpaper I managed to get a good finish.

I love making giant figures although I only was happy when I finished him. As a real giant superhero, this fits perfectly in the contest.
