Body: ToyBiz Marvel Legends Face Off 2-pack classic Sabretooth
Head, forearms, hands, shins, armor, weapons : 4H 200X Skeletor
Cape: LCBH 2-pack Warrl

Skeletor is the kind of custom I do a lot of: take the aesthetically nice parts of a figure and mix in the functionality of Marvel Legends joints. That's construction-heavy but I like the construction part. At its core, it's a mix of 2 figures: all the cool armor and sculpting on the 4Horsemen 200X Skeletor and the super-posable body from the 2-pack FO Sabretooth, which has this subtle fabric sculpt by the joints on it that makes Skeletor's skin look stretched out and gross, which I love. That took a lot of work to integrate all the parts together, but it retains all of the articulation of the ML body that it's built on top of except the 200X hands, which are built for those weapons so I left them on the forearm armor. Swivel only.

I wanted bright colors but did my best to make those colors have variation and depth. There are a ton of Skeletor customs here at the realm and I looked at all of them, and there's some amazing work to try to live up to. Skeletor is a character I don't care about but he is an icon of pop culture and he's got a killer design, and makes for a cool figure, and once I had the idea in my head of how to do it I had to see it through. Too many influences to list but the one by Spawnsauce was particularly inspiring.
