Created back in 2016. Had to do some major mods on this one, over a few days. After buying the FOC sideswipe [originally colored red], I had to buy a small red Mercedes Benz car of a similar size, a hatchback model, which was for display. Yet the Benz could roll and open up its doors. For those curious, the name of the Benz toy from ebay was: Kinsmart Diecast Red Mercedes Benz ML Class SUV, 1:36 scale.
Then I cut off the doors from the red Benz and I used two tiny dollhouse hinges from Home Depot to attach the red doors to the back of the Sideswipe toy. I cut the Sideswipe in half with a mini-saw and then I made him taller with inserted putty and small cut plastic plates, for his new torso. I also added a new plastic face-plate, the sort of mouth-guard that Optimus Prime has, when he is ready for battle I the movies. I also enhanced his legs, making them thicker / sturdier. And I added two new wheels from the red Benz to the outer sides of his lower legs, to make him look more like an Autobot. New shoulder pads were also created for him via putty.
Then I colored the whole thing metallic blue with Americana acrylic paints, along with silver and some metallic gray. I also added some white racing stripes, stickers, to his final layer. And on the interiors of the attached rear doors, I had to create some sort of boxy compartments, to keep them from looking plain. His boots where also sculpted and enhanced, so that they'd be larger and fit with his new shins. The curved silver fenders / bumpers around his lower legs were also custom made from a secret, special, cylindrical plastic container [the sort of plastic you get when you buy circular ice cream! LOL].

Also, I added two arm-mounted weapons from one of the Iron Factory third-party toys, as well as two more laser handguns from the Combiner Wars Leader Class Skywarp toy. This guy can't transform, but that's fine with me. I create mostly display models, upright robots, for my collection.
