2014 Magneto Recipe: Body, hands: DCSH Superman Head, hands, cape, heavily modified: ML3 Magneto Head 2: X-Men Classics Magneto unmasked New parts: Gloves, boots: DCUC OMAC Collar: ML9 Bullseye collar, heavily modified. ML3 Magneto collar rivets, ornament Jin was the first guy to build a Magneto on a DCSH/DCUC body, and started with the same one I'm using, the DCSH Superman. But I've modified the body to, for one, make sure the legs can close and come together decently. And after sanding so much of down as I did to eliminate paint rub, it's not quite so buff. By the time DCUC started, the body became simpler, puffy-er, but the early version is a bit more cool. Originally I used ML3 Magneto's cape and collar. But that was lazy so I started almost again from scratch. The whole thing was torn apart, new boots and gloves, sculpt a real belt, and use the ML3 Magneto's cape, already cut down the sides, and attach it to a modified thinner Bullseye collar, and take all those parts off Magnet's collar like the big rivets and use them in this new construction. Then go paint the whole thing again, this time with a rough flat red and a smooth metallic purple. Way better now and I'm glad I took another shot at it. It was after doing Skeletor that I wanted to revisit it. ![]() |
