started with a small dry eraser board as tha base. Used silk, rubber and real plants. Got a cheap dino cut in half and extend the ribs to accommodate a rider. filled his hind end with sand to weigh it down. Painted the floor of the diorama dark to make it seem deep and murky added cloth dye to the water beads to tint as well. Hand made saddle from cardboard and felt and scuplted harness. added bone armor and repainted figure, and scuplted (gean simmons ) tongue. Enjoy!!!!
added web feet and hands, ankle fins and tail fins to make it seem more like a aquatic lizard....and the 5th gator head ( it has yellow spots on a green head) and a thin wire attached to the tail to anchor it down, just in case!!!)
if you start from the bright spot in thr center.... there are four gator heads north , northnorth west, north northeast and south southwest..... really hard to see but thats the point right ?!?
easier to see were the heads are in this w.i.p. shot ( they were changed around in the final shot ) and notice the cut up bilster packaging as retainer walls ( cut away after it dried)
I can't tell you how much I appreciate your support !!! Your sic-fi horror work is a huge inspiration I me !!! Keep up the awesome work !!!!! AND STAY SAFE !!!
