Age of Apocalypse was the first time I can remember seeing Magneto leading the X-Men and I remember thinking it was awesome. I also loved his design, and it's one of those I've wanted to get around to making ever since I first started making figures. I've covered a lot of that list by now. I figure for the sake of being poetic, if I ever stop making figures, the last custom I do will be the first name on that list. Anyway, when I saw they were finally releasing an official Age of Apocalypse Magneto, I knew I could finally get him fixed up, and be lazy about it. I liked how looked bigger than just about everyone else, so I once again went with the Hyperion/Gladiator body mix. The head, cape, and lower legs all came from the official Magneto, with the belt and gauntlets sculpted on. Full repaint, and that's two down!
