Thundra for the base figure so pretty simply custom for Volcana. I cut away her forehead piece and sculpted a little hair in place of it. A couple of couple of two yellows, one coat of white so the yellow would show through a little and the a dry brush of black. The flame effects are from the first Hasbro Human Torch.

I see what you're going for. Lit from beneath. Fire on the inside. Looks like it at least. Just needs more paint apps in more layers.

I guess I can see why you think that. If it were a Hercules custom, that would probably be the technique to use. I'll have to rethink how to work shading for the next one.
