I wanted to fix up an actual Thor design for this week, but debated which for a while. Initially, I thought about Heroes Reborn, but I don't really like that one. And I didn't feel like revisiting Unworthy Thor. Then I thought about his Amalgam designs, Thorion and Thor-El, but opted to go back to a comic look. Then I saw this one. I knew immediately this one had to be it. The classic embodiment of a 90s costume. And I remember thinking it was pretty cool, especially during the Marvel vs DC stuff. Upper torso, arms, and upper legs are from Hyperion. Lower torso and lower legs are from Gladiator. Head is also from Hyperion, cut down so the Skaar hair would fit. I actually sculpted up much longer hair, but I had completely forgotten about there being a cape on this guy. So, I had to scrap that at the last minute for Skaar. Cape was from Beta Ray Bill, with the hammer coming from one of the MU Thor figures. Sculpted up the boots, belt, straps around his legs, chest harness, and shoulder pads. Full repaint, and all done!
