Continuing through Cable's Six Pack, we come to Cable himself. For some of these guys, I'm recreating the old Toybiz designs. For one I think I'm recreating a 6" custom in the smaller scale. I think. And for this guy, I'm recreating the X-Men Legends design for Cable. Which, I really like the design so I was excited to get to it. Also really helpful to see a figure and be able to use it as a guide. Initially, I was going to use a full Cable base, but swapping out a bunch of other parts seemed to work a lot better for him. Upper torso, arms, and head all came from Cable. Gun, too. Lower torso was from Sandman, with upper legs from Gladiator, and lower legs from the World War II Cap from the First Avenger movie line. Holsters were from....I'm not sure. They weren't cast, but I had already cut them off of whatever they were on. Belt was from a ROC Joe, but I don't know who specifically, with additional cast pouches added. Probably from AvacsLab. Whew. Sculpted up the entire upper torso which was quite the task. Lots of trial and error. Added some to the side of the neck as well, leading up onto the additions on his head. Was able to segment that better than I thought. Sculpted straps on the legs, then added the pants around that. Sculpted up the knees, then the cover to the boots. Glued the holsters in place, then the belt, and rounded it out with some sculpt, as well. Then added the pouches. Is that it? I think that's it. Full repaint, and finally done!
