Balin is my favorite dwarf. I was going to save him for last but I had all the parts and could no longer wait. I made him very short. The actor who plays him is the same height as the actor who plays Bilbo and for the most part, the stood eye to eye. So I removed the El Torito feet and used them on my Oin and used the Hornswoggle eat and used them on Balin.

I used the jacket and arms from the Dr. Who Time Lord firgure.

I loved Grinmankey's head sculpt and copied his design.

The outfit is of course Gimli's and I used the belt from the Pintel figure.

Beautiful work ! Perfect headsculpt, like always; perfect choice of base-material, like always and an own personal touch, which makes it a unique, while it’s still super close to the original, though. The coat and arms fit so perfectly ! Love it !

Good overcoat body and arm choices! His clothes are anoying as I believe the part on the top of his tunic is like a collar that falls over his overcoat. If you look at the 3.75 inch figure it illustrates this. Good job on the height! You are correct Ken Stott is around the same height as Martin Freeman and on screen he looks essentially the same height so good attention to detail there

None taken! And you had SO much happen, it's perfectly fine. I found a used Bilbo figure and couldn't pass it up. I am happy because I LOVED sculpting this guy, I took my time working on each blade of hair. The Time Lord Dr. Who figures was God sent. I didn't even have to paint it and I think it looks elegant.

wow!! I absolutely love this Balin! The jacket and arms are so perfect! His height is just right too. Sorry, I never got around to sending that head, but you did a great job on sculpting your own! This is my second favorite Balin, no offense..!
