In my opinion this is the best *affordable* Bane figure with improved legs. As you may know the Mattel DC Superheroes Bane has terrible leg design. You can’t bring knees together and there is little range and pose-ability from the waist down. For me it cost only $40 total for this modification (plus some glue & sugru). From Amazon I purchased a new Mattel “DC Superheroes: Bane” Figure for $30 and a new Mattel “WWE Elite Collection Big Bossman Series 47 A” figure for $10. Do this and you’ll have a Bane figure with (above the waist) head, shoulder, elbow, wrist swivel, and (below the waist) upper thigh swivel, double jointed knees, a swivel at the boot-cut, and a slight ankle pivot. The lower half of the WWE figure did the trick. I 1st tried a modification I saw on youtube using pieces of Despero BAF legs with a repaint but after testing the hip pegs I found they didn’t hold securely. For my mod’, I dremeled just below the belt of Bane and I cut and sanded the top of the Bossman’s pelvis piece. I did this to preserve the Bane belt & buckle plus this retained a waist swivel. I used Gorilla super glue gel and later added a little bit of black sugru just below the belt. I did that so it looks like pant material and not a Bane belt directly on top of a Bossman belt. Enjoy!! ![]() |
