Phyla-Vell here was made for the 2017 Secret Santa Swap over at the Fwoosh, and went to fellow customizer NewCollector. Personally, I think this one blows away all of my previous work, but, admittedly, I'm a little biased. The kitbash is fairly simple, she's just a Spider-Woman body with Mockingbird forearms and a bunch of alternate hands that came from Silk, Ashley Barton Spider-Girl(AKA Spider- B!#%&), and Mockingbird, with alternate heads from casting cave. From there I sculpted the thigh high boot cuffs, wrist gauntlets, chest symbol, and the hair on both heads. The hairsculpts are probably the part I was most excited about here. I sculpted them out of procreate putty so they'd have some flexibility to them, allowing me to sculpt them so they could extend off of the body without snapping. I really felt like I started to get the hang of using procreate with this custom, and I think it shows in the final headsculpts. As far as accessories she has a wired cloth cape, and Taskmaster's hood, with painted on gold trim, as well as a skull that plugs into her open hand, and two fireball effects from human torch, along with her sword, which was made using parts from Nico's Staff of One, and Stryfe's sword with sculpted details such as the handle, and spikes around the circle. She was then primed with Model Masters Black, and then white over the top so that when I added color, in this case red, it would create contrasting tints and shades. I think this worked really well and gave the figure the cleanly shaded look I was going for. This is definitely a technique that'll be a mainstay in all of my future projects. As you can tell I'm really impressed with the results it gave me. So anyway, that's pretty much how I put Quasar together, please let me know what you think!
Also, there are more pics on my website, just google 'Omarali Customs Weebly' to find it.
