Hi all. Ever since I bought Cottonmouth a couple yrs ago, it has annoyed the heck outta me that Hasbro cheaped out & never included a much needed alternate open mouth version. Cottonmouth's main ability is to open his augmented jaws about a foot wide and literally bite someone's head off. For along time I tried to figure out how to find the right way to do this & I was looking thru my fodder bin & noticed I had an extra Tiger Shark head & a Morbius the Vampire head that would be perfect for what I wanted to do. So I went about dremmeling out my extra Cottonmouth face and sanding & shaping it up so I could fit the face of Tiger Shark that I had sliced off and made to fit inside Cottonmouth's cowl. I then glued the face in , used aves sculpty to fill in the discrepencies and then primed the head grey, then painted it. For Morbius I had to slice the head in half just below the eyes & then cut the mouth in half to have the upper & lower jaws/teeth separate. I then cut another extra Cottonmouth head I had in half & sliced off his face below the eyes as well. I then used aves sculpt to start sculpting the elongated jaw effect and this was my 1st time doing this type of face/jaw swapping so I was nervous I was gonna mess it up & lose 2 good head sculpts in the process. but I think it came out pretty good and after priming the head grey and then painting it, I now have 2 more alternate heads I can throw on Cottonmouth that simulate his power better
