I recently got the Savage Land set from Hasbro, never cared much for Kazar, but I am a big Shanna fan,but the figures are realy cool; I was just thrown off by how small kazar feet were, I think Snanna's were bigger, so I gave him new ones, unfortunately I lost the ankle articulation, but I think it was worth it(I included the "before" picture for comparison) as I stated looking at the figure I saw a little bit of Tarzan in it, and since there hasn't been any well produced figures of him, I decided to give a little paint job in addition to his new feet and now I got Tarzan.
woah! I'm amazed...I'm speechless...I'm surprised theat you could turn such a boring character into one of the coolest figures in the world!HATS OFF TO YOU!
TARZAN! Great Freakin' idea pal! I grew up watching the old Johnny Weismueller black & white movies, the television live series and the animated one from the early 70's, and of course I practically learned to read from the works of Edgar Rice Burroughs. I later ended up becoming a huge Conan fan, but before I ever heard or knew of Conan, there was Tarzan! Then of course there was the standard semi-weekly Carol Burnett imitation of Tarzan's trademark yell...C'mon, fess up...who hasn't tried it themselves?...I have seen only less than a handful of Tarzan customs, he's probably one of the most neglected characters in the toy business (with the exception of the B.S. Disney stuff). Great use of the Ka-Zar figure!
