Iceman: I saw a youtube videos showing the end result of a kitbash with a Marvel Legends Iceman and the X-men uniform from the Toys r Us exclusive: x-men 5-pack Cyclops. (Shout-out to DewDawg Reviews!) Everything was achieved with boil & pop and part swapping. No alterations necessary when mixing the pieces.
Colossus: I dremeled away the overhang from his cuffs to make them flush with his wrists. I added Apoxie Sculpt above his kneecap to make the upper shape of his boot. The two paints I used I’ve added in the photos. I still want to add the black lines on the buck to complete the overall look of his armor. I made one attempt with a sharpie and it was looking terrible so I stopped and painted over the mistake.
