This is the next custom I have just finished working on which is part of a series of figures based on characters from the classic 80's "Jem & the Holograms" cartoon series.
So this time I was asked to make Aja in the style of the classic She-Ra Princess of Power figures which were also released in the 80's.

Her overall look is based on the vintage 12" Aja doll but with some adjustments to help her fit in better with the vintage POP line.

To make her I used the head from a vintage Mermista figure & the body from a vintage Peekablue figure.

Her costume was painted using enamel paints & I used glitter for her tights.
Her skirt was made using fabric from a vintage 12" Aja doll skirt & the belt was made from faux leather & holographic tape.

Finally I made her a little guitar based on the one that came with the vintage 12" doll.
