I don't care what anybody says, I hereby declare that I LOVED the Ryan Reynolds Green Lantern movie. It was EVERYTHING that a decent Green Lantern movie should be. My only complaint is that the Movie Masters line of figures (of which I have almost every figure) was grossly out of scale with the Man of Steel and Dark Knight figures, and subsequently, any live action Multiverse properties that have followed.
I wanted a Hal Jordan figure to fit in with my growing DCEU collection. At first, I looked to an Injustice GL, but something about his proportions just didn't fit. So, after about a year, I finally came up with this. I snatched the hands and rubber tunic piece from the Injustice Hal and put them onto a Movie Masters Zod. The proportions were right and I really just love the skin suit's texturing. Pretty simple paint by numbers with the shades of green.
Of course, he also needed a more realistic head. Even though he's far to old to play Hal Jordan now, I decided to go with the long time fan favorite. I removed the head from a Funko Firefly Mal figure and painted the mask. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Nathan Fillion as Hal Jordan.
