So, the Shattered Grid comic event starts up this week for Power Rangers. The comic has been surprisingly great. I'm really looking forward to this. I really wanted to make a bunch of Power Rangers this week, including finally pulling Drakkon together, but all my parts are still out being molded. I thought I would have to pass altogether, but then I remembered wanting to make the Psycho Rangers. It took me a while to work out a design I was happy with, but finally got there. Unfortunately not in time to pull together a full set, but that can come later. Psycho Green was introduced in the comic, but Psycho Red felt like a better place to start. Head, upper torso, arms, and upper legs are all from Hyperion, with the lower torso and lower legs coming from Gladiator. Smoothed over the whole body with sculpt for the first layer. Then, added everything else in two additional layers. All of it. The head was sanded down a ton, then fully resculpted. Smoothed over, then the rest of the face and headgear added over that. Once that was finished, a full repaint, and finally done! Have a better idea how to approach the next ones now.
