Finally getting back around to a new Mortal Kombat figure! I've wanted to remake Kano for a while, but haven't been able to fit him into the schedule. I'm expecting an announcement for Mortal Kombat 11 in the next few months, so I was just about settled into waiting until next year's release. But, a request came in, allowing me to finally do this guy justice. Swapped out the lower legs for one of the Captain America figures from the First Avenger line. The hands were from Punisher, and the knives were cast from Marauder. Head was a cast from....I think AngelForge, and the belt was from Steve Rogers. Fully resculpted the head. Added the beard, hair, and visor. Cut and glued the belt in place, then rounded out the back with sculpt. Sculpted up the full bracers, arm bands, chest piece, and the full harness, including the knives on his lower torso. After that, a full repaint, with some exceptional tedious line work for those tattoos. After all that, finally done! Hopefully, I can try a classic Kano at some point.
