This is a take on the Volgan war droids from the ABC Warriors of the 2000ad comic books. The base figure is an iron monger, I added the Vogan skull and V symbol, battle damage, along with the horns.
The weathering and metal fatiguing adds to the battle damage. I kept the colour palette in line with the comic art.

WOW , Brilliant Idea , I`ve been tryin to hunt down the old doombots to make a start on the ABC warriors , looks like I`ll be hittin ebay for Iron monger too , The work you put in to the weathered war torn look is incredible all the way down to the feet looking more worn than the body ! great work
