Found three different heads that had similar weight. Installed three powerful magnets on each head. On a Marvel Legends Spider-Man 12 inch figure, I removed the neck. I then placed a magnet on each shoulder and a larger magnet were the neck was, giving me the balance I needed to create the illusion of a floating head. I then took the figure completely apart and sanded all the joints. I put them back together and gave it a light prime. I air brushed it with a light gold and used a dark gold for the highlights. For the cloth on the head, I used a purple vinyl as it looks great as a cloth and is not heavy, allowing the heads to float.
