I wanted something to do in between working on a Devil Dinosaur custom and decided to try my luck at Gamestop since people were reporting finding Infinity War Series 2 figures there. I called them and it turned out they had a Black Widow they could hold for me! When I got there, I discovered they had the whole series plus an extra Nat. I was thrilled! What a good hunt, and I had something to work on while the red Studio 71 paint dried on Devil. I recalled seeing this mod in the "Avengers: Infinity War" Series 2 thread on the Fwoosh and knew I had to try it.

I used a hairdryer to heat and remove the hair from the "Infinity War" Black Widow figure. I also swapped the hands for the "Winter Soldier"Black Widow figure since she typically had open finger gloves; it just stinks that that figure had no wrist hinges, but I was willing to sacrifice it for accuracy. I then heated and removed both "Winter Soldier" Black Widow hairs. Both looked really nice with the new figure's head, but I liked the "Avengers" styled hair a bit more, so that's the one I went with; perhaps if I find another Nat in the wild I'll do the same thing with the long hair. I simply used some Krazy Glue to affix to hair into the peg hole sculpted onto the head, which holds it in place nicely.

I removed the odd green vest, and gave her the SHIELD Agents 3-pack guns and she was done. I recently got the DC Collectibles Joker Expressions pack which comes with a nice display stand, and thought Black Widow would be a cool figure to try it out on.

And there you have it; a relatively pretty easy kitbash of sorts to try while waiting on a more time consuming custom; it definitely beats watching paint dry.
