I think mostly everyone who had toybiz marvel figures back in the 90s had this character in their toy box. He was probably one of the most recognized figures but no one knew who he was, unless you read X-Factor back in the 90s.
Here is a custom of Random in an updated action figure form from that of his 90s release.
He was made using a mixture of figures. From the knees down I used the Juggernaut wave Cable's legs with sculpting. The thighs and hips are from Captain America reaper mold. The crotch and abdomen are from Juggy wave Cable. The upper torso, shoulders and biceps are from Piledriver. I modified the upper torso to fit the Cable abdomen.The fore arms are from savage dragon and I sculpted the gun. For the head I used a Drax head and sculpted the bandana and reshaped his mouth and gave him a cigar. I sculpted the jacket using procreate. I made his power blast effect using hit glue. I finished of by hand painting everything and dry brushing some highlights. Thanx for looking and enjoy.
