Really nice work. I've always liked the classic Bronze Age red and gold armor, stands to reason as Iron Man #100 (original series) was the first comic I had as a kid.
Makin of video on youtube title "Simple Easy Custom Action Figure - Marvel Classic Comic/Cartoon Iron Man" ... this will be helpful for those who wanna see where the additional mods with Epoxy putty are done ... very minimal and easy.
Very nice! I dig all this 'cell shading' stuff that's been happening. And as said, it looks quite impressive at that scale. You did a good job - you should make more of em! ~phin
Thanks ... actually I just did it for fun ... I like trying out different things just for fun and challenge ... Now I'm thinking of how to make them look better ... prob will try on a Capt or Superman ... Those Alpha Blanx works well for those Comic Proportions.
unbelieveable, what you did with that base and this scale!!! the paintwork is truly incredible! I got three of these layin around but didn't had the courage to start something with it till now... big applause for you!
one question...do you have done some rework on the joints against paintrub? cause I think I will use one of mine too soon and some of them look already good...
Thanks ... I didn't bother much with sanding down ... BUT .. if u do sand them on the joints and the paint coats are thin should be quite ok. When I was posing this fig I notice the major paint rub was on the right leg bcus I made that circular thing a lil too big ... so when the leg moved it rubs and yellow is a pain ... need too many coats. Can be somewhat solved with superglue carefully over the paint .. when harden will b ok.
yeah,I figured out by primer and moving it... doesn't we all hate yellow? I'm glad there will be just a little on the breastlogo of this project.I want to do a freakazoid and got only these bases left over^^
