So lately I've been reading a lot of classic X-Factor comics and it amazes me how we still don't have a Cameron Hodge Marvel Legends figure, especially since he always pops up and plays a huge antagonistic role in such events like "X-Tinction Agenda" or "Phalanx Covenant". I would love to get a figure of him based on his "X-Tinction Agenda" look most, but in the mean time, I'll settle for an amalgamation of his looks, with "Phalanx Covenant" being the primary inspiration behind him since I had all the parts to make that look. Back around Christmas I got a lot of the Warlock Series figures off Amazon for cheap fodder. Coupled with the extra leg from my jacketed Cyclops custom, I was able to mostly make a second Warlock.

Head: Magus
Wire/cable hair: Twistie ties from the Marvel Select Destroyer figure
Glasses: Sculpt for the bridge over the nose and 2 Vintage Series Black Widow belt pieces
Body, arms, legs: Warlock Build-A-Figure
Gun hand: Death's Head II

I also had a spare damaged Death's Head II and I really liked how his gun hand looks and thought it would be perfect for Hodge. For the head, I used my spare Magus head given a Caucasian paint job. I filled in the peg holes from the hair with Milliput and made his cranium more round and less pin-headed as well. I then glued on the Black Widow belt pieces and sculpted the bridge over the nose, too. I then drilled holes into the head, cut the twistie ties accordingly and glued them into the head's new holes before painting them yellow. I painted his glasses white.

I cut a piece off of a Q-Tip to use as a peg, drilled a hole through the forearm and the gun hand, put the new "peg" in there, and used a crap ton of Krazy Glue to hold it all together. I painted the gun hand flat black before giving it a yellow-ish gold paint wash. It's a little off, but doesn't really bother me much.

All in all, I'm really digging this guy, and it's nice to get a somewhat obscure X-Men villain for the shelf; plus, it's nice to use some spare BAF parts (it's like getting an extra one which I find very cool, just like when I made Man-Bull). I still want the "X-Tinction Agenda" look as a figure though, okay Hasbro?
