"I'm Blob Lite now. Half the fat, none of the flavor."

The Blob is by far my favorite of all the adversaries of the X-Men and the BAF Blob truly is a gross beauty to behold. My Blob figure is just as gross but pretty far from the classic representations of the character. Using a ML Quicksilver as base I customized my figure in keeping with the events of M-Day when the Scarlet Witch left most mutants depowered. Although losing his superhuman mass the depowered Blob's skin did not shrink to compensate leaving him huge folds of skin. The recipe began with replacing Quicksilver's feet with feet from a figure of the Indian Street Fighter guy (name?). Then followed a long night through into dawn sculpting with Apoxie Sculpt. Quite tedious really particularly because I wanted to retain as much of the figure's articulation as possible but the end result made it all worth it. Added some sculpting to the hair to disguise the Quicksilver hair and finished with Citadel paints.
