Found this pretty cool looking Voyager scale Grimlock at a Dollar General near me the other day. Figure was decently articulated but lacked any good paint apps. Spent an a night giving him a new redeco and added some weapons.

that's a really impressive transformer to find at a Dollar General, I mean, your paint job makes it 100 times better but it looked pretty decent for such a low price.

Very cool. You just proved my point that the Authentics line (which this figure is from) may be a somewhat simplified figure but it still looks way better than the Power of the Primes Grimlock especially when painted up to add more colour and detail to the rather bland mostly unpainted look it has. Great job.
