Stilt-Man

This is a custom figure of Stilt-Man. Yes, you read right….Stilt-Man, one of … if not the lamest villain in the Marvel Universe. I’ll give you the real world (what were they thinking when this character was created) origin. Inventor Wilbur Day was pissed off at his job and stole the designs for a hydraulic ram from a co-worker. He then built two rams and put them into stilts and attached them to a suit of armor of his own design that amplifies his strength like 10 times and became Stilt-Man to committed crimes. Why commit crimes when you can just sell or patent the design for a suit that amplifies your strength?…who knows. Stilt-Man’s criminal career consist of getting his @$$ handed to him by Daredevil quite a few times, partnering up with Electro, partnering up with Blastaar, once with an adamantium forged suit tried to fight Thor, once he got his suit totally stolen from him, got missile in the crotch and a bullet between the eyes during Civil War by the Punisher…which was the end for poor Wilbur. Stilt-Man’s claim to fame, something he can brag to others villains about, he beat Spider-Man once.
This custom was made from ML 3 Magneto body, DC Classic Bat-Man head, and other figure odds & ends.
Customizer side note: Stilt-Man was a difficult custom to figure out, because I needed stilting extending action and while I tried different things, I finally found these bendable foam cylinders that were the perfect circumference around, I also had to change the feet from the original design (for the better I think) to balance the figure as he stood up, I purposely made the head smaller to show that it is armor covering his body and with all this STILT-MAN LIVES !!!! (as a marvel legend custom at least)

Dude, that's awesome.
This should've at least been top 10 IMO.

Hey Drsean,
oh WIP...ok thanks. Yeah, sorry I didn't take picture during the customizing process, just the finshed product. I'll give a more indepth parts list insted. base: ml 3 magneto, because he is just a ml 1 iron man, but his chest was smoother and without the molded chest circles. I knew I was going to paint it silver, so to cheat a little on paint loss on the articulted parts. I used the arms and legs from ml 7 silver centrion iron man (another reuse body of ml 1 iron man), which were already silver. The hands came from ml 1 iron man with the arm bendy extenders coming from a ML 12 B-A-F Apocalypse elbow cable, because the parts practically came from the same figure they fit together with almost no problems. The head could have been any half mask hero head, at first I was going to use hml Yellow Jacket because he had antenna receptors molded on his head, but because of the bug eyes on the head I opted for batman and with the cutting and sanding of the bat ears and the gluing of the Yellow Jacket receptors and attaching an ML Ant man's helmets antennas to extend YJ's antennas is how the head was made. The robotic looking neck was from a ml 2 Dr Doom (which caused slight problems). The microphone head collar was made from small part from a cut sheet of foam you could find in a craft store for like .49 cents, I guess I could have used apoxie putty too. The microphone it's self was a unknown junk piece I glued into half a GI JOE "O" ring and then glued onto the foam collar. The air condition backpack could have been anything with a cylinder top, I used a 1996 smash & crash hulk series doc Samson's big gun accessory, broke it in two and I even used the cables attached to the weapon as air hoses I attached / glued from the "now" backpack to holes I made in the foam collar. The orignal ML 7 iron man legs were deattached from highest point of articulation as per Stilt-man's pic in the Marvel handbook. The feet were taken from a Spawn / Wetworks Vampire figure to give big footing balance regardless of size. The leg extenders are from a kids building / creativity toy set of something called "FLEXOAM" (see pic)(maybe they sell it at toy stores or on a website, I found it at a close out store), 6" inch foam tubes with bendable metal rods in them was about the same circumfrance size as the leg circumfrance of the iron man figure and with a little sanding they were even. Because I wanted two sizes of legs I had to fiddle a while before I found a way to give the legs stabilty in both sizes...that's about it. I wrote all this because you showed an interest I wouldn't normally write all this, but I hope it helps if your repairing your stilt man or making another.

Work-In-Progress. Pretty much what the figure looked like before painting.
Best example I could give is:
