I saw this and the Grimlock figure at my Family Dollar store...so I pick them up. I used the head for my Optimus Primal custom. The head and neck area is from Constructbots Slug. The end result, my G1 Huffer custom.

I love it! I've been wanting to have a larger Huffer to display and I think I'm going to follow your lead (I especially like that the head more closely resembles the original toy than the the cartoon). What colors and brands of paints did you use?
