This was an easy recipe i am surprised i have yet to see done. Head obviously is the spare dirk anger head from nick fury. Torso, lower arms and thighs are from boomerang. Shoulders and lower leg are from taskmaster. The lower legs had to be shaved down slightly at the upper disk joint for them to fit better on the boomerang thighs. The holsters were cut from taskmaster web gear. The bullets are a cast i made from cable. The thigh strap and belt were sculpted. The cigarette is a piece cut from the end of a light saber and painted to resemble a cigarette, i basically just knocked one of his teeth out and glued it in. The shoulder strap was actually spliced together from a belt off of one of the toybiz marvel legends. Whisky bottle is a 1:12 dollhouse prop i bought a bag of those from china, they're rather cool.
but dirk was something that had to be done because c'mon the director of hate was a really funny character, short lived but he was hilarious and i think he looks awesome next to marvel legends nick fury. Like all my customs i try my best to get them as clean as possible and i make sure the parts that are painted are properly sanded and sealed so you can play with him, youre not going to hurt him the paint will not come off. Because face it, its an action figure if you can't pose it and do photo shoots or photo comics without paint flaking off or it falling apart, it fails as an action figure :) (looking at you marvel select lady deadpool)
