A friend of mine wanted me to make him a Nightwing with Marvel Legends articulation. I chose the Marvel Legends Havok figure as the base because the body itself is mostly all black. This cuts down the amount of work. I sanded down the cuffs on the arms and added the arm bands from the DCUC Nightwing. The head was a cast from the DC Collectibles Hush Nightwing figure that I purchased from eBay. The pointing finger hands were made from the Scarlet Spider (Absorbing Man Series)thwiping hands. I glued down the pinky finger with crazy glue. The open hands were from the same figure. The escrima holding hands came from a Doctor Strange (MCU Hulkbuster series) figure, the fingers were glued closer to make the grip a lot better. The escrima sticks were from the DCUC Nightwing figure. Everything was painted by hand and sealed with Testors laquer spray with a flat finish. My friend was very happy with this project and frequently photographs the custom. He wishes to complete his Bat Family collection, all on Marvel Legends bodies.
