Having done a Battle Armor He-man I was motivated to do a Battle Armor Skeletor. This one took awhile for two reasons. One wanted to come up with a design that contrasted with my Battle Armor He-man. And second was work. Nothing to explain there, LOL. Basically the same recipe as my early Skeletor. The armor design was inspired by several fastasy armors, dracula, and some various Batman armors I have seen over the years. Definitley was thinking Skeletor's armor would be more ornamental, imperial than He-man's. Hope you like and feedback and comments always appreciated.
no, that is a Realm of the Claw base. It just works as a prop/ back ground. I do have plans, one of these days, to do a Castle Grayskull and use that as a guide for how to paint it.
Did the whole foamie sheet and earphone wire trick. Trick to getting the foamie sheet to not look like foamie sheets, is using thick coats of acrylic paints. Faomie sheets can act like a sponge. If you don't paint a good thick base coat, it won't look smooth. Earphone wire around the edges just helps making it look like it was cast or molded. I don't know what was going on with my camera today. Pictures arent as crisp as I had hoped. Might try again tomorrow under a different light.
