This started as a 10" Wild CATS Grifter. The top of his head was cut out off and re sculpted into the cowl. straps on chest were ground off and re sculpted. I the liked the trench coat look, so I went for a Coat/Cape hybrid. The ribbed fabric inside the collar was ground down smooth, rolled up sleeves were changed to tuck smoothly inside the gauntlets, a scalloped edge was added on to the bottom, and the coat-belt was removed and sculpted smooth. Gauntlet "spikes" were made from styrene. Then all joints were glued and filled. Some of the low spots were filled with Bondo spot filler putty, sanded, then sprayed with auto primer, and given a light final sanding (the bondo spot putty is the red areas showing through the primer in the WIP). the base is made from wood and molding then textured with spackle. The iron work is just wood doweling. ![]() |

I've just been on the lookout for anything I think would make an interesting version of Batman.
When I found the Grifter, The mask made me think of some of the versions of Batman (and Batgirl) where they wear similar masks. The coat just kinda evolved- I liked the big collar and thought it would give him a bit of a Dracula feel.
Thanks again.
