One of my favorite comic book artists is Ed McGuinness and I've also always adored the He-Man and the Masters of the Universe aesthetic, so this custom is a colliding of the two.

The base is a Captain Atom figure from a DC Direct line that was based on McGuinness' art from the comic book 'Superman/Batman'. I took reference for He-Man from multiple commissions and a print Ed made for fans, which were all slightly different in their interpretations. So, this is a bit of an amalgamation of parts from versions I liked best. Mostly everything was sculpted with Aves Apoxie Sculpt except the harness which I got from a vintage He-Man figure that luckily fit perfectly.

This is my first custom action figure and I learned a lot about customizing from problem solving and general sculpting. He's not perfect, but I hope you enjoy and thanks for looking!
