The Tactical Operations Centre (TOC) is a command post used by CM field commanders to communicate and observe the status of the Marines that are deployed in the field.
The command post features a bank of monitors accepting direct feeds from individual Marines' bio-readouts and tactical cameras. Secondary monitors provide updates from the section motion trackers and robot sentries.
I considered the interior of this vehicle a separate project by itself. I tried to match, as much as possible, movie accuracy and playability in this vehicle. Not an easy task cuz James Cameron used separated sceneries, for the vehicle´s interior he used a scenary according to the production´s requirements, and for the exterior he revamp an airport´s towing tractor . That means that the interior showed in the movie is bigger than the space inside the real vehicle.
I used many tic tac boxes, carton board, plastic warning signs, computer diskettes parts, playmobil accessories and cell phones circuits. The command´s seat has a rail like the movie and can move back and forward. I wanted that this rail were hidden and for that reason, I put a second floor inside the vehicle.
There's formal seats for 14 figures and a special space for "Newt". The driver's console has functional controls. As the gunner station is not possible see it in the movie I created my own version. Hope you enjoy it too.
