This version of Grundy is inspired by his time as the villain of the classic Green Lantern, Hourman, and Dr. Fate with hints of his appearance in Long Halloween (my personal favorite Batman story). A 1/6 scale male blank body was heavily modified to create Grundy’s stature and both variants of the Marvel Legends Series 9 First Appearance Hulk heads were resculpted and modified to be interchangeable. A combination of airbrushing, glazing, mottling, and dry-brushing techniques with Tamiya acrylics were used to achieve his look. The custom soft goods were retailored and weathered, and the metal shackles made of craft fodder were heavily textured and weathered.
