Its created from wood and polymer clay around a wooden boxwith metal hinges and a felted interior and is approximately 4 inches wide by 3 inches high and deep. Its inside storage space is 3.25 by 2 inches and 1.25 inches deep (not including the lid depth)
The mimic chest comes with a detachable tongue that sits snugly in place over the bottom teeth as a extra display option.
